Over the last few years, I have contributed a few blog posts to the Abolition Lectionary project by Christians for Abolition. It's an effort to comment on all the Sunday and holiday readings in the three-year liturgical calendar from a liberation theology perspective, with an emphasis on abolishing the prison industrial complex. For the last year, I worked with the amazing Hannah Bowman and Rev. Wes Spears-Newsome to edit the blog collection into a book.
